Graun
Graun (800 meters) is found on the ‘second floor’, high above the Etsch Valley on a high, sunny plateau. This village with its 250 inhabitants is sometimes called the crown of the landscape (from which the name is derived). Sitzkofel mountain behind the small St. George’s church offers breath-taking views across the entire area south of Bozen and across to the Dolomite peaks.
